How do I make a proposal?
1) First of all, you need to “ENROL” on the webpage. You will have to fill in the whole enrolment form (if you win, we will need these data to contact you).
It is very important to enter the user name and password fields.
2) After this, click on the SEND button.
3) Then, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to the Student’s e-mail you wrote down on the enrolment form.
4) On the top of www.destinovalencia.com/uk09 webpage we have a PARTICIPANT ACCESS, where you will have to enter the USERNAME and PASSWORD and click on the OK.
5) After this, you enter the site. Between the buttons PRESENTED PROPOSALS and WINNERS, you will see the new button: ADD A PROPOSAL. Click on it and send your proposal!
Remember: IT IS ESSENTIAL TO SEND YOUR PROPOSAL IN SPANISH.

Conditions of entry
PARTICIPANTS All students of Spanish at secondary and sixth form level aged 14-18 can participate for FREE in the competition. Enrol on the webpage www.destinovalencia.com/uk09 and create your proposals.
HOW TO TAKE PART o take part in the competition and have a chance to win one of the prizes, every student is invited to enrol and present a proposal on www.destinovalencia.com/uk09 filling in all fields required in the “ENROL” link.
Enrolment in this competition implies you have accepted the conditions of entry.
PROPOSALS Each student can present a maximum of one proposal.
Students must present a project with a maximum of 8 slides (or similar format ppt, pst, swf or pdf). IT IS ESSENTIAL TO SEND YOUR PROPOSAL IN SPANISH. The slides must represent, in the most possible creative way, the sequence of an advertisement (storyboard of an advertisement) for the city of Valencia, following some of the next guidelines:

- The world’s best stage – host to some of the best international events.
- An urban and responsible natural area.
- Mediterranean lifestyle, a Mediterranean feel in an avant-garde city.
Use the Internet to research leisure, culture, sport, gastronomy and the lifestyle of the Valencian community and transfer your findings in the most creative way possible to your proposal. BECOME A CREATIVE ADVERTISER and include pictures, photographs and photo collages. You can show what you want and in whatever way you want. If you don’t have power point or photoshop you can use free software to present your proposal. You will find these easily on the internet:

Every proposal that is correctly presented gives participants the chance to win the competition.
Before being published on the web, all presented proposals will be reviewed in order to check that all requirements have been adhered to. If it arises that a requirement is missing, the proposal will be dismissed.
Files containing content that is contrary to the rights, honour and privacy of the individual or family will not be accepted or published. Files that are contrary to the law in force will not be accepted. Valencia Tourism will disqualify without justification any proposals it considers to be unacceptable.
WORK The proposals must be created for the competition Destino Valencia. They must not have been presented to other competitions and they must be originals coming from the class presenting them.
PROPOSAL PRESENTATION The proposals can be presented by attaching the files to the “ADD A PROPOSAL” form.
The proposals must be ppt files or similar ppt, pst, swf or pdf files.
The file must not exceed 2 megabytes in weight.
CLOSING DATE Original proposals will be received from 1st May 2009 to 30st June 2009 inclusive.
JUDGES’ DECISION The decision by the panel of judges will take place on 1st July 2009. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges made up by representatives of AMELEE and the Consejería de Educación. They will take into particular consideration the originality of the presented proposal and the use of the Spanish language.
The panel of judges will consist of 3 people. If the judges’ decision is that the works presented were not of a high enough quality, the prizes may not be awarded.
The judges' decision will encompass all the works presented during the competition dates. This decision will include the choosing of the winners for the prizes.
The judges’ decision will be made public on 2nd July 2009 on the webpage www.destinovalencia.com/uk09. The winning students will be informed by e-mail. The winners allow the use of their contact details in the case of winning the competition.
Conditions of entry
IT IS ESSENTIAL TO SEND YOUR PROPOSAL IN SPANISH.
COPYRIGHT: It is understood that participants authorise, without limiting the system or medium used or the countries involved, the reproduction of the proposal without payment for rights. Competing students are fully responsible for confirming that no third party copyright exists for the presented work, as well as for all claims for rights of pictures. Competing participants also authorise the Valencia Tourism to include photos of the trip on the webpage Destino Valencia after the trip has taken place.
Participation in the competition implies total acceptance of these conditions. The solution to any incident not foreseen in these conditions will be applied by the Valencia Tourism. It will be solved using the best criteria and without any appeal. The applicant is informed that personal information provided will be incorporated into the database of the Valencia Tourism, which takes responsibility for the file. The information will be used in order to process the lodged application. The information obtained must comply; if not the application will not be processed.
The applicant authorises the Valencia Tourism to access their personal information in order to send to their email any information about the Valencia Tourism that may be of interest to them. The applicant reserves the right, at all times, to exercise access rights, correction, cancellation and opposition to the treatment of information, by email to promocion-dg@turisvalencia.es or by fax to + 34 963 606 430.

1) Valencia Football Club Foundation organizes its 9th summer camp. They offer three soccer courses for boys and girls from 14 to 18 years on the following dates:
- From July 12nd to July 18th.
Students will have the possibility to meet the VCF Football players and the promising youngsters.
During the sport activities, the participants are under the surveillance of the camp coaches. They’ll be assigned a group depending on ages and will share other activities like swimming pool, extra curricular activities, movies, games, club history, etc.
These prizes include maintenance, flight (*) and accommodation.
(*) Valencia Tourism will pay the flight from Dublin, Bristol, East Middlands or London to Valencia and the taxis from the Valencia airport to the Valencia facilities (round trip), too. The price of transport from the place of origin in the UK/Ireland to these airports will not be included.
If any of the 3 winners can not come to Valencia, she / he will be awarded with a Valencia FC t-shirt and a Valencia CF soccer ball.
2) Additional prizes will be offered to the next 4 winners. Each one of them will receive one Spanish course in Valencia for a week.

VALENCIA FOOTBALL CLUB FOUNDATION organizes its 9th summer camp.

All participants will be expected to take an active role in these elements.
The Valencia FC facilities are located in Paterna (8 km. away from the city).
There will be held the camp in 3 turns:
- The first one June 28th to July 4th.
- The second one July 5th to July 11th
- The third one July 12nd to July 18th.
There are 200 places in each turn.
Children will have the possibility to know the vcf football players and the promising youngsters.
